Liquid Vinyl Comfort Resin Floor

Liquid Vinyl or Comfort Resin Flooring is the most sustainable resin flooring currently available. With the longest independently assessed life cycle of modern floor options, this resin floor makes it the greenest in choice, and the most comfortable as well.

Soft, smooth, sleek hygienic, this cushioned polyurethane liquid vinyl flooring system has been developed with extraordinary features and good looks in mind, providing the ultimate comfort for resin flooring.

Blending a warm, cushioned feel with impressive durability and toughness, this solvent-free elastomeric surface ensures style, substance and safety, making it a particularly good choice for hospitals, healthcare environments and many other commercial applications.

Why choose liquid vinyl resin flooring?

Self-smoothing, completely monolithic and totally seamless, liquid vinyl flooring is super smooth and affixes to surfaces without gaps, significantly improving and continually ensuring high standards of hygiene.

Soft, warm and comfortable underfoot, the surface has a sleek look and a welcoming feel, which overcomes the ‘coldness’ of many of the comparable alternatives. Among its many useful features, liquid vinyl is:

  • Hygienic
  • Easy to clean
  • Non slip
  • Soft feel
  • Wear resistant
  • Scratch resistant
  • Noise absorbing – Comfort Sound Deadening Options -4mm (16dB) and 6mm (20dB)
  • Burn resistant
  • Resistant to damage from high heels
  • Available in any RAL colour.

How is liquid vinyl resin flooring made?

Liquid vinyl flooring is generally made using layers of flexible polyurethane resin which is installed directly onto a primed substrate or a resilient rubber underlay. The base resin layers or rubber crumb underlayment is used to give the system even more elasticity and flexibility for the ultimate footfall cushioning, noise reduction and comfort underfoot.

Vinyl flooring is becoming an increasingly popular option in UK schools, hospitals and health centres, as well as a range of retail and commercial environments, from shops and showrooms, to bars, leisure centres and modern offices.

The benefits of liquid vinyl resin flooring

Liquid cushioned vinyl flooring has a unique range of properties that make it perfectly suited to a diverse range of commercial applications. Not only does the flexible resin finish produce an ergonomically warm, elastic and wear-resistance surface, but it also has exceptional sound deadening properties and remains jointless even around large columns to give you the maximum freedom of design. There is also reduced risk of cracking, reduced footfall noise, warmth underfoot and increased walking and standing comfort.

Our Liquid Vinyl contributes to a healthy indoor climate with very low emission of volatile organic compounds. BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method), is the world’s longest established method of assessing, rating, and certifying the sustainability of new and existing buildings. BREEAM sets requirements for flooring with a view to the interior, Hea 9 – Volatile Organic Compounds.
