Decorative Quartz

Decorative quartz flooring for commercial premises

Ecoflor installs decorative quartz resin flooring for commercial and industrial projects. Coloured aggregate creates a speckled appearance, with the resin system and surface finish selected around the working conditions.

Colour blends and surface finish

Discuss the colour blend and appearance using samples. The selected aggregate, resin and finishing process determine the result. Agree the surface texture alongside the visual brief, particularly where spills or wet cleaning are expected.

A decorative quartz finish should be specified for its location. No single texture can be assumed to suit every combination of footwear, contamination and cleaning.

Choose the system around daily use

Tell us about footfall, wheeled traffic, loads, likely spills and cleaning products. Kitchens, laboratories, shops and other commercial spaces can have different requirements for chemical resistance, impact, texture and detailing.

Where the project needs a more industrial screed specification, compare our epoxy quartz screed flooring system. The decorative appearance and the floor’s required performance should be considered together.

Substrate preparation and detailing

Ecoflor assesses the existing floor before installation. Coatings, contamination, moisture, cracks and joints influence the preparation and resin specification. Our surface preparation service forms part of the work.

Agree finished levels, thresholds, edges and any falls or drainage details at the quotation stage. If levels need correction, discuss floor levelling and resurfacing. A decorative finish should not be expected to correct an unstable substrate.

Installation programme and maintenance

Share your available closure period and access restrictions. Fast-curing options can be discussed, but the programme depends on preparation, system choice and site conditions. Return to use should follow the agreed installation specification.

Plan cleaning around the selected texture and expected contamination. Protective measures for furniture and equipment, suitable cleaning products and prompt attention to damage help maintain the finish.

Decorative quartz questions

Can I choose the colour?

Ask about available aggregate blends and samples. Review the proposed finish before the installation is agreed.

Is decorative quartz suitable for wet areas?

The resin build, texture and details need assessment against the specific exposure and cleaning regime. Discuss the whole floor requirement, including slip resistance, joints and drainage.

What affects the cost?

Area, existing condition, preparation, repairs, resin build, finish and access influence the quotation.
