A big part of installing your ideal flooring solution is ensuring that your chosen resin flooring installer is competent to work on your site or premises, but also that the contractor has taken it’s responsibility to ensure Health and Safety legislation is not only met, but actively promoted through it’s workforce.
At Ecoflor, with the help of specialist external Health and Safety consultants ensuring that we remain up to date with any new legislation, we have been accredited to some of the industries highest standards.
Our accreditations demonstrate our competency and standards and our ongoing commitment to not only our client base, but our workforce safety and well-being as well.
Our accreditations speak for themselves:
Our Constructionline Gold Membership demonstrates that our company aligns to industry and government standards.
The enhanced PQQ questions set goes beyond the data collected by PAS91 to include Environmental Management, Quality Management, Equalities and Diversity. This ensures we abide legislation in areas such as Modern Slavery, Anti-bribery and Corruption, and Equal Opportunities.
Our membership demonstrates to buyers that our organisation has been subjected to increased scrutiny around governance and risk management. It also demonstrates that we comply with Health & Safety legislation and hold a current ‘SSIP’ certificate.
The SafeContractor scheme is a SSIP-approved health and safety assessment scheme for contractors who want to demonstrate that they’re taking responsibility for their legal health and safety requirements.
We are accredited and can be accessed by over 370 big brand clients looking for approved contractors to work on their site.
The scheme reduces client risk in their organisations, ensuring that their contractors have suitable and sufficient health and safety processes in place.
CHAS (The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) was created by experienced health and safety professionals in 1997 to improve health and safety standards across the UK.
In partnership with the Association of London Government (ALG), CHAS was a key developer of the core criteria held in the Approved Code of Practice which supported the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 (now recognised as CDM 2015) and is a founder member of SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement). As one of the founders of third party accreditation we are not only a trusted advisor on health and safety compliance, CHAS is an authority. CHAS sets industry benchmarks, and provides assurance and reassurance.
In 2017 Capita took the decision to make its Acclaim Health and Safety Accreditation available to any organisation that seeks an objective assessment of its Health and Safety regime. This is of interest to customers, buyers of services but also to C-suite leaders and boards (in seeking independent assurance of the systems they have in place).
Acclaim was developed in 2009 but was previously only available to Constructionline Members. However, it is equally applicable to any business that provides services to the public and private business sectors also across a range of business sectors in addition to construction.
