Concrete surfaces beneath raised access floors
Where the project requires treatment beneath a raised floor, share the pedestal layout, installation sequence and access arrangements. Concrete dust proofing or a specified coating may be considered according to the substrate and project requirements.
If water containment is part of the design, discuss the scope of epoxy modified waterproofing, including interfaces and penetrations. Performance needs to be assessed for the complete specified detail, not assumed from a coating alone.
Exposed floor finishes and refurbishment
Options may include water-based coatings, epoxy coatings or self-smoothing resin finishes. Traffic, equipment movement, cleaning and appearance influence the selection.
Where levels need correction, floor levelling can be discussed separately from the finish. Existing moisture, contamination, coatings and damage need assessment before installation.
Electrical performance requirements
