Concrete Dustproofer

Concrete floor dust proofing for commercial premises

Ecoflor supplies and applies concrete floor dust proofing treatments for commercial and industrial projects. If your floor is releasing surface dust, we can discuss its condition, traffic and intended finish to establish a suitable treatment or refurbishment scope.

Request a concrete dust proofing quotation with the location, floor area, photographs and details of how the space is used.

Assess the existing concrete first

A dusty floor needs assessment before a product is selected. Share the age and condition of the concrete, existing treatments, cleaning history and the areas showing wear. Loose or damaged material, contamination and moisture conditions may affect the proposed preparation and treatment.

Dust proofing is not a substitute for repairing an unsound floor. Where there is significant damage or a different finish is needed, repairs, resurfacing or a resin coating may be more appropriate.

Dust proofing, sealing or a resin coating?

These descriptions cover different products and finishes. Discuss whether the brief calls for retaining the concrete appearance, treating the surface beneath other construction or installing a coloured wearing finish. Product suitability and appearance should be confirmed for the substrate and intended use.

For a coloured finish, see our water-based floor coatings and epoxy coatings. For a ground and polished finish, view our commercial polished concrete service.

Warehouse and data centre projects

Warehouse enquiries should identify vehicle and trolley traffic, storage arrangements and access. Existing damage can be discussed through our warehouse floor repair service.

For treatment beneath raised access floors, provide the specification, pedestal layout and installation sequence. Our data centre flooring page explains the scope of related floor treatments.

Preparation and application planning

We assess the preparation needed for the selected product, including existing coatings or contamination. Surface preparation, application conditions and return-to-use times form part of the agreed programme. Share restrictions on work near stock, equipment or occupied areas before installation is planned.

Concrete dust proofing questions

Will the treatment repair cracks or uneven areas?

Repairs and level correction need separate consideration. Include photographs of defects so the necessary work can be discussed alongside the treatment.

Will it change the appearance or grip?

That depends on the product and existing surface. Agree the required appearance and performance before selection, rather than assuming every dust proofer gives the same result.

How long will the finish last?

Service life depends on the substrate, treatment, traffic and maintenance. Discuss the intended use and follow the care requirements for the installed product.

What affects the price?

Area, access, preparation, floor condition and chosen treatment affect the quotation. A site assessment may be needed to confirm the scope.
