In 2017, Topps Tiles located to a new site in the stunning Cornwall town of Penzance to expand their growing and successful tile retail business.
The existing floor slab required extensive diamond floor grinding prior to the application of an oil tolerant epoxy resin priming system. The floor was levelled throughout using rapid drying cementitious flowing screed applied by hand to a level grid layout.
Upon cure, the newly installed screed was vacuum sanded throughout prior to the application of our water based epoxy primer. When cured, the Ecoflor polyaspartic retail flake system was applied throughout to give a satin, hard wearing finish with a granite multi-colour effect.
A UV resistant seal was applied as a final finish.
