When the O2 Arena was being fitted out, the O2 Blueroom had to make a bold statement for all its visitors. The design required a seamless white resin floor that could take high footfall and retain its bright white finish. The ideal choice was Ecoflor’s Liquid Vinyl seamless polyurethane.
The seamless white coved skirting was formed by hand to an MDF backer using a trowel applied mortar with the main floor being laid seamlessly using our 3mm UV resistant white Liquid Vinyl finish. A 2 coat satin polyurethane seal coat was then applied to both floor and skirting to finish the white monolithic finish.
The floor was handed back to the shop-fitting contractor for final fit just in time for the grand opening with Bon Jovi headlining in June 2007.
