Floor Painting Somerset
To meet an increasing demand for their products and services, Taunton Fabrications invested in an additional 700 square metres of factory space at their Galmington premises in Taunton.
The building will primarily house the company’s finishing and off-site pre-build activities, but will also be used as an overflow facility for welding and fabrication. The construction of this 30 tonne structure – including design, civils, manufacture, erection and fit-out – was managed completely in-house. The building includes two five tonne overhead cranes, a new paint spraying system, roof mounted solar panels and electric charging points.
Ecoflor was tasked with floor preparation to the new concrete slab prior to coating. Floor painting on this project consisted of a two coat application of solvent free high build coating in a two colour layout with demarcation for walkways. All points to external areas included a light anti-slip finish for precaution.
