Appliance Bay Flooring for Avon Fire & Rescue
As part of their new technical centre in Avonmouth, Avon Fire & Rescue required a heavy duty resin floor finish for the fire engine appliance bays and stores.
To add to the requirement, these appliance bays would be used for the servicing and repair of the entire fleet of Avon’s fire engine, tenders and pump ladders.
The concrete was then prepared throughout and a heavy duty 9mm polyurethane screed was applied to all appliance bays, capable of steam cleaning and regular wash down, whilst being impact resistant.
All stores areas were completed in 4mm polyurethane smooth screed in a complimentary colour.
With a 10 year warranty but life expectancy in excess of 15 years, these floors will stand the test of time.
